Gillian English is an actor, writer and producer based in Toronto, Ontario. She is the founder and Artistic Producer of The Theatre Elusive, a very exciting new theatre company in its first season. Gilllian is also one half of the hilarious sketch comedy duo, The Young Geologists.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Gillian received her BAHons in Theatre from Dalhousie University. She also has her post graduate diploma in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in London, England.
Gillian can be seen performing with The Young Geologists, and in two of The Theatre Elusive's shows this season, Matt and Ben (Nov.16-26, 2011) and Julie (tba). Gillian is also proud to be the new producer of the hit comedy show Awkward! A Comedic Storytelling Show; which happens on the second Friday of every month at 8:00pm at The Comedy Bar.
